The Scottish Local Authority Rent Forum

The forum has recently raised concerns about the way the process of uprating rent charges operate within the Universal Credit system.  Current arrangements rely on individual claimants to enter thier new rent year.  This can result in delays and errors in uprating payments each year.  The forum wrote to the DWP on this issue in June 2023.  Thier letter and the reply are included on this page
